Appeals & Review

Having your visa refused or cancelled can be devastating. It not only adds to the cost but also impacts your plan towards achieving your migration goals.

Once the immigration has cancelled your visa or refused your visa application, you will be given a notification about their decision in writing, including whether the decision can be reviewed.

There are strict time limits on your right to review or apply for appeals that need to be adhere with. If you do not lodge the review application in the correct format, you may lose your right to review.

If you have been allowed review rights, then there are three options for a review or an appeal:
1. Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT/MRT) Review -
2. Federal Circuit or Federal Court Review
3. Ministerial Intervention
